Ashley joins the choir in Jeanine Tesori's BLUE at Lincoln Center

Ashley is honored to step onstage at the world famous Lincoln Center! She joins a choir 150 strong to premiere a new element to this piece: a live (surprise) chorus! Under the direction of  Lincoln Center Presents, presented in collaboration with Lincoln Center Theater and The Metropolitan Opera. This two-act opera, with music by Jeanine Tesori, a libretto by acclaimed playwright and director Tazewell Thompson, and direction also by Thompson, offers an unflinching exploration of race and identity within the Black community.

Experience a staged concert of Blue, the award-winning contemporary opera from Lincoln Center’s 2025 Visionary Artist and two-time Tony Award winner Jeanine Tesori. Set in Harlem, Blue is a poignant and powerful contemporary opera that delves into the heart of a Black middle-class family—grappling with the devastating loss of their teenage son, who is fatally shot by a white police officer during a peaceful protest.

This once-in-a-lifetime presentation is presented at the Wu Tsai Theater in David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center on Saturday, November 15th at 7:30 pm, tickets available now.

Get ready for the Betties in Pocket Theater Company's COLLECTIVE RAGE: A PLAY IN FIVE BETTIES

"I think a lotta things that seem like art are maybe actually just about p*ssy. And then also, things that are mostly about p*ssy might actually just be art."

Ashley joins COLLECTIVE RAGE: A PLAY IN FIVE BETTIES by Jen Silverman as the feisty, no-nonsense Betty 3. Under the direction of Emmie D'Amico, this is the inaugural production from Pocket Theatre Company.

Betty is rich; Betty is lonely; Betty’s busy working on her truck; Betty wants to talk about love, but Betty needs to hit something. And Betty keeps using a small hand mirror to stare into parts of herself she’s never examined. Five different women named Betty collide at the intersection of anger, sex, and the “thea-tah.”

This show runs at The Chain NYC as a limited, independent production from September 4th - 6th at 7:30 pm, tickets available now.

Ashley joins EMMY: Or, THE NEMESIS OF NARCISSISTS at The Tank's LimeFest

Emmy Insta Post.jpeg

Ashley explores modern myth once again with The Skeleton Rep(resents)! This time, she takes on the nymph Echo (of Greek mythology fame) in Ria D. DiLullo's EMMY: Or, THE NEMESIS OF NARCISSISTS.

Housing nine characters across three acts in the mythological eternal now in an average place, EMMY features the goddess of revenge Nemesis in disguise as a new-order nymph named Emmy, Zeus fornicating with a different nymph named Evie, Hera enlisting the help of two human siblings to catch her cheating husband, and Narcissus reimagined as a pop star named Rick Luck, with Tiresias the seer as the local radio DJ spinning throughout. All but the most powerful gods get what’s coming to them. Caught in the crosshairs of the action is Echo, a good-natured nymph who wants to do right by her best friend, Evie. But when she starts lying to Hera to protect her friend, she becomes compromised. All the while, neither Evie nor Echo heed Emmy/Nemesis’ warnings that interacting with beings far greater in power than themselves can only bring about their destruction.

EMMY runs at The Tank NYC as part of LimeFest 2025 for a single performance at 3 pm on Saturday, August 23rd, tickets available now.

Struggling with severe depression, You return to your hometown in Texas, right by the river that raised You, right on the border with Mexico. It’s the summer of 2019 and the Rio Bravo keeps claiming migrants’ lives during their perilous crossings. However, the people in your hometown are much more interested in talking about “The Rio Grande mermaid,” a creature rumored to haunt the river, clawing its way out of the sand, out of the water, into the air, into your head, haunting the mouths of family, friends, and strangers. Something in the water calls to You. “Come,” the river says, “Come to me.”
